XLRI - Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, has announced the cut-off marks for Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2022 for postgraduate courses in Business Management and Human Resource Management on its official website.
The overall cut-off mark for male applicants to the Business Management programme is 93 percentile and that for women is 90.
For the HR Management programme, the overall cut off for male engineering candidates is 92 while that for female engineering students is 90. Male applicants from a non-engineering background require a 90 percentile and women from a non-engineering background must have a 87 percentile.
The GMAT cut-off for XLRI is 730 for the Business Management programme and 700 for the HR Management programme, respectively.
The cut-off is the minimum marks required by a candidate to qualify for the next phase of admission, which includes group discussion and personal interview in XAT.
Continuing with its tradition to encourage women’s education, the Jesuit institution has lowered the cut-off for women candidates as compared to men.
XAT cut-off percentiles for XLRI admission are based on several factors. The three main determining factors are the number of candidates appearing for XAT that year, the difficulty level of the XAT question paper and the number of seats allotted for admission.
Around 4,000 to 4,500 XAT candidates have been considered for the group discussion and personal interview (GD-PI) process for the three programmes. For the Business Management and HR Management programmes, the list of shortlisted candidates was released on January 29. The interviews will be conducted between February 20, 2022, and March 25, 2022.
XAT is held for admission to MBA and postgraduate management courses on behalf of the Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI).
