School and college students with a flair for art can let their imagination run wild at a digital et competition hosted by World University of Design.
Artverse 2022 — Digital Art Competition for the Metaverse requires participants to create their avatar in various categories such as Superhero, Cyberpunk, Fashionista, Everyday Professional, Futuristic Army/Military Soldier, Character from Indian Mythology and Performing Artist /Musician /Dancer.
Metaverse is a virtual reality world where imagination knows no bounds. It allows one to be at a certain place at a certain time without physically having to be there!
Students aged 16 to 21 can register online by paying a participation fee of Rs 250 till March 20. All those who register will be eligible to attend a masterclass on illustration and character design.
Artverse 2022 not just offers students an opportunity to showcase their creative ideas, but also gives them a chance to hone their existing skills with the specially designed masterclass.
The winner and two runners up will receive prizes of Rs 10,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 2,000, respectively.
World University of Design (WUD), Sonepat, is India’s first university dedicated to educating students in the creative domain. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in Architecture, Design, Fashion, Communication, Visual arts, Performing Arts and Management. The university also offers a number of cutting-edge programmes in Computers and Design, Transportation Design, Animation and Game Design, UI/UX, Film and Video, Built Environment and Habitat Studies, Design Management, Art Education and Curatorial Practice.
