The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) will start the West Bengal NEET PG stray round counselling for 2023 today at 4 PM. Candidates can participate in this crucial phase of the admissions process, which will be facilitated through choice filling on the official website: wbmcc.nic.in.
In response to the National Medical Commission's (NMC) request, the Supreme Court has granted a one-time extension for NEET PG admissions, pushing the deadline to October 10. Notably, the Union health ministry's decision to reduce the NEET PG cut-off for 2023 to zero for all categories prompted revisions to the round 3 counselling schedule by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and several state counselling committees.
It's important to note that the WB NEET PG stray vacancy seat allotment result for 2023 will now be announced on October 16, affecting the plans of aspiring medical students.
Once the selection process is completed, the chosen candidates are expected to report to their respective allocated colleges between October 17 and October 19, during the hours of 11 AM to 4 PM.
