The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB), in a press conference, announced the release of the results at 2:30 pm. The result will be available at the official website –wbjeeb.nic.in today at 4 pm.
According to the board's announcements at the press conference, the topper from West Bengal is Md Sahil Akhtar a student from DPS Ruby Park, Kolkata.
Another student Soham Das from the same school has secured the 2nd rank. He has also secured 1st rank in the recently concluded JEE Mains 2023.

This year, the total number of candidates who registered for the examinations is 124919 out of which 91974 were male and 32944 were female.
Applicants who appeared for the exams are required to fill in their application number and password as login credentials for downloading their WBJEE result 2023. It must further be noted that all applicants who get shortlisted will have to further appear for the WBJEE counselling 2023. In case two or more applicants score the same marks in the WBJEE result, the WBJEE admission authority will utilise a tie-breaking policy for the final selection.
