The West Bengal Higher Secondary 2022 examination dates have been revised once again, this time because of the bypolls in West Bengal.
The Higher Secondary (HS) 2022 examinations will begin on April 2 as scheduled but will continue till April 27, instead of April 26.
There will be no examination from April 6 to 15 as the bypolls will be held on April 12 and votes counted on April 16.
The First Language test will be held on April 2 and the Second Language on April 4, chief minister Mamata Banerjee said on March 17.
The Higher Secondary 2022 vocational examinations will be held on April 5.
The West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE), which conducts the Class XII board examinations in the state, had earlier revised some exam dates as they were clashing with the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main.
The Statistics, Geography, Costing and Taxation, Home Management and Family Resource Management group exams of HS 2022 were rescheduled to April 25 from April 18 since students who have taken Statistics may have Physics, Chemistry and Maths and may have applied for JEE Main.
But JEE Main schedule was further revised with an exam on April 25, which once again coincided with the HS 2022 dates.
The latest rescheduling of HS 2022 routine also takes care of that as no exam will be held on April 25.
