The eagerly awaited results for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) for class 10 and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) for class 12 have been declared by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) today, May 6, 2024.
Candidates can check their results through the official CISCE portals, cisce.org and results.cisce.org, as well as via SMS. Additionally, CISCE has made the results available on DigiLocker at results.digilocker.gov.in.
In West Bengal, where 426 ICSE schools and 320 ISC schools presented candidates, the pass percentages stand at 99.22% for ICSE and 97.80% for ISC, respectively.
Notably, girls have outperformed boys in both categories, with girls achieving a pass percentage of 99.41% and boys achieving a pass percentage of 99.07% in ICSE. Likewise girls achieved a pass percentage of 98.86% in ISC while boys scored a pass percentage of 96.88%.
The Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has extended congratulations to the top ICSE and ISC performers via an official tweet.
Nationwide and internationally, the ICSE saw 2,43,617 candidates, while ISC had 99,901 candidates. The overarching pass percentages for ICSE and ISC are 99.47% and 98.19%, respectively, with a marginal increase from the previous year.
The examinations for class 10 and class 12 concluded on March 28 and April 4, respectively.
