WBCS Prelims Result 2023 Out, 4960 Candidates Qualify: How to Check Your Score

The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has declared the WBCS Prelims Result 2023. Candidates who appeared for the West Bengal Civil Services (Executive) Preliminary Examination 2023 can now check their results on the official website at psc.wb.gov.in.

How to Check WBCS Prelims Result 2023

1. Visit the official website at psc.wb.gov.in.
2. Locate the ‘What’s New’ tab on the top left corner of the homepage.
3. Click on the ‘ROLL NUMBERS OF 4960 CANDIDATES WHO HAVE BEEN QUALIFIED PROVISIONALLY FOR THE FINAL WRITTEN EXAMINATION IN WEST BENGAL CIVIL SERVICES (EXE.) ETC. (PRELIMINARY) EXAMINATION, 2023. (ADVT. NO. 01/2023)’ link available there.
4. A new page will open with the respective PDF displayed on-screen.
5. Click on the PDF and find your roll number as the document opens up.
6. Download and print the page for future reference.

According to the official notice, a total of 4960 candidates have successfully qualified for the final written examination. Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary examination are now eligible to appear for the main examination.

The preliminary examination took place on December 16, 2023, across various centres in the state. The answer key was released on December 23, 2023. The objection window was opened on December 30, 2023, and closed on January 5, 2024.
