The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) will soon release the notification of West Bengal Civil Services (Executive) Exam, 2024 on its official website. Once the notification is out, candidates will be able to check it on psc.wb.gov.in.
Through this examination, eligible candidates will be recruited to Group A, B, C and D officer positions in different departments of the West Bengal Government.
Eligibility
Educational Qualification - To apply for the WBCS (Exe) Exam, a candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university
Age Limit
Candidates applying for the positions must be between the age of 21 to 36 years
Exam Pattern
Candidates will be selected completely on the basis of merit. The examination will be held in three phases, The Preliminary, Mains and Interview. Candidates who qualify the preliminary exam, will be called in for the Mains exam and candidates who qualify the Mains exam will be called in for interview.
The Preliminary examination will comprise of 200 multiple choice questions with each question carrying one mark. The exam will consist of English Language, General Science, Current events of National and International importance, History of India, Geography of India with Special reference to West Bengal, Indian Polity and Economy, Indian National Movement, General Mental Ability.

Step 4: A new page containing the notification will be displayed in front of you
Step 5: Download the notification and go through it carefully
