The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has published the result for the first round of WB NEET UG Counselling 2024. Registered candidates who participated in the said round can now check their allotment status and download the letters from the official WBMCC website.
The West Bengal NEET UG 2024 counselling ensures that 85 percent of state quota seats for MBBS/BDS programmes are allocated according to the candidate’s preferences based on their ranks and seat availability.
Steps to Download the Allotment Letter
- Visit the official website at wbmcc.nic.in.
- Select the ‘UG Medical & Dental Counselling’ tab on the homepage.
- Click on the ‘Candidate Registration and Login’ link.
- Enter your NEET UG roll number and password to access your account.
- The seat allotment details will be displayed.
- Download and save the allotment letter for future reference.
Candidates who have been allotted seats will need to confirm their seats and pay the required acceptance fee through the online portal to secure their seats. Following this they will need to report to the allotted college for document verification within the specified timeframe. However, candidates who are not satisfied with their seat allotment after admission have to physically appear before the college authority for seat surrender/resignation.
