The wait is over for all WBJEE 2024 aspirants! The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) Board has commenced the counselling registration and choice filling for WBJEE 2024 today, July 10. This is your chance to secure a coveted seat at top colleges and institutes in West Bengal.
The WBJEEB conducts the counselling process for students who qualified in the WBJEE 2024 exam. It allows them to participate in seat allotment for undergraduate engineering, technology, and architecture programmes offered by participating institutes in the state for the academic year 2024-2025. The seat allotment process will be conducted based on the candidate’s WBJEE rank, preferences, and seat availability.
WBJEE 2024 Counselling Process
Candidates need to visit the official WBJEEB website, register using their WBJEE 2024 roll number and other login credentials, and pay the required counselling fee online within the stipulated deadline. They must also keep in mind that only registered and fee-paying candidates can proceed further with choice filling and other procedures.
In this phase, the registered candidates must select the institutes and specialisations they're interested in, arrange them in their order of preference, and finally lock them by July 16. This confirms their final selections for seat allotment.
According to the WBJEE official schedule, the first-round seat allotment result will declared on July 19, followed by payment of the seat acceptance fee by the candidates who have been allotted seats. After which they will have to report to the allotted institutes for document verification and admission formalities.
Following the first round, subsequent rounds of seat allotment will be conducted if seats remain vacant.
