The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced an extension for the WBJEE BPharm Counselling 2024 process. This extension comes following the decision by the Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal, to include more pharmacy colleges in the counselling process. The updated timeline and further details will be notified shortly.
The Board was expected to release the first round seat allotment result today, for WBJEE 2024/JEE(Main) 2024 qualified candidates who had participated in the previous registration process.
However, the WBJEEB published an official notification stating that the the first round counselling and registration has been extended to accommodate the inclusion of additional institutions offering BPharm courses. Candidates who have already registered are advised to keep an eye on the official website for updates regarding the new schedule.
The inclusion of more pharmacy colleges is a significant move aimed at expanding opportunities for students seeking admission into BPharm programmes across West Bengal. Candidates will now have a wider range of colleges to choose from, increasing their chances of securing a seat.
