If a candidate’s seat is upgraded in this round, their previous allocation is cancelled and reassigned to other candidates based on merit, with no option to revert to the earlier seat. If the seat remains the same, it stays reserved for the candidate. Round 2 outcomes include;

1. Upgraded Allotment: Candidates with upgraded seats must download a new allotment letter and complete admission procedures at the newly assigned institute. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of their current allotment. However, they will not be required to pay the seat acceptance fee once again.

2. No Upgrade: Candidates retaining their initial seat must finalise admission at the originally allotted institute, or risk forfeiting their seat.

3. Previously Cancelled, Re-allotted Seat: Candidates whose seats were cancelled in Round 1 but re-allotted in Round 2 must report to the institute for document verification. Ineligible candidates will face cancellation, while eligible ones can proceed with admission.

4. New Allotment in Round 2: Candidates without prior allotment must pay a seat acceptance fee of ₹5000 and bring all documents for verification. Successful candidates can complete their admission, but those failing verification will have their allotment cancelled.

With the round 2 allotment result released, this marks the final stage of the counselling process, with no further options for upgradation.
