The application process for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations is expected to begin soon. Recently, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Board has announced the date of the exmination which will be held on April 28, 2024 across various centres of the state.
Once the application process begins, candidates will be able to submit their application online at wbjeeb.nic.in. Through this examination students will be admitted in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and architecture courses at different universities and colleges in West Bengal.
Exam Pattern
The examination will consist of two papers.
While Paper 1 will contain questions from Mathematics, Paper 2 will contain questions from Physics and Chemistry.
Paper 1 will have 75 questions while Paper 2 will have 80 questions with 40 questions from Physics and 40 questions from Chemistry. Both papers will be of 100 marks.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to appear for the examination, candidates must have attained the age of 17. There is no upper age limit to apply for the WBJEE except for Marine Engineering. Candidates applying for this course must be within the age of 25 years.
Students must also have obtained 45 per cent marks in their Class 10+2 as aggregate marks. Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics along with any one of the following subjects
Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Computer Application/Technical Vocational Subjects as compulsory subjects.
