The counselling process of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2023 will begin shortly, as stated by the chairman of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB), Malayendu Saha. Counselling can start within 5 days of receiving the seat matrix from the Directorate of Technical Education of West Bengal, he said.
Counselling will take place in three rounds. If dissatisfied with their allocated subjects, candidates can modify their choices in the first round. Of the 101000 students who appeared for WBJEE 2023, 97000 candidates were ranked. The ranked candidates will be able to register for the counselling process through the official WBJEEB website: https://wbjeeb.nic.in/
The sequence of allotment of seats during counselling will be based on the WBJEE 2023 rank of the candidates. They are advised to keep their class 10 and class 12 board examination mark sheets at hand during counselling, along with domicile, caste, and/or PwD certificates, if applicable.
