The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2022 will be held offline on April 23, 2022. The WBJEE Board, which conducts the state-level engineering entrance exam, made the announcement on November 12.
The entrance examination schedule for undergraduate level subjects like Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture has been published.
“WBJEEB will conduct OMR-based Common Entrance Examination (WBJEE-2022) for admission in the academic session 2022-23 to undergraduate courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture of different universities, government colleges as well as self-financing engineering and technological institutes in West Bengal,” the notification by the WBJEE Board stated.

- Exam will be held on offline mode
- Tentative date for online application to begin: 4th week of December 2021
- Tentative date of examination: April 23, 2022 (Sunday)
- Exam will be on OMR sheet
The WBJEE 2021 results were published on August 8. A total of 65,170 students had appeared for the exams this year, of which 64,850 have been ranked. It was the first offline public exam of 2021. The pass percentage of WBJEE 2021 stood at 99.5. The counselling round for WBJEE 2021 concluded on September 11.
The WBJEE is held annually for admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture for universities, government colleges, and self-financed institutes in West Bengal.
The engineering colleges in West Bengal accepting WBJEE scores for admission to BTech include Jadavpur University, Kolkata; Kalyani Government Engineering College, Nadia; IEM Kolkata - Institute of Engineering and Management; Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, Jalpaiguri; Aliah University, Kolkata; Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering And Technology, Malda; University College of Science, Technology and Agriculture, Kolkata; GCETTB Berhampore - Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology; Government College of Engineering Textile Technology, Serampore; Government College of Engineering and Leather Technology, Kolkata; Raja Bazar Science College, University of Calcutta, Kolkata. There are a host of other private and government colleges and private universities in the state accepting WBJEE scores.
