The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced minor revisions to the syllabus for certain subjects in classes 11 and 12. The updated syllabus can be accessed on the council's official website wbchse.wb.gov.in.
According to an official notification, the changes were implemented after receiving suggestions from various stakeholders. The updated syllabus will take effect from the upcoming academic year and will be incorporated into the 4th edition of the syllabus book. Additionally, revisions will be reflected in the next edition of the council’s Model Question Papers.
WBCHSE Class 12 Exam Subjects with Revised Syllabus
It is important to note that class 11 students currently preparing for their semester 2 examinations will not be impacted by these changes.
Updates on WB HS Exam 2025 Enrolment and Practical Exams
The council has also extended the online enrolment deadline for the Higher Secondary (HS) Examination 2025. Schools can now complete the enrolment process for class 12 students until December 21, 2024.
Meanwhile, WBCHSE confirmed that the ongoing HS practical exams will conclude on December 20, 2024. Candidates who have already passed their practical exams in previous years are exempt from reappearing.
