Uttarakhand NMMS Application 2025 Begins at scert.uk.gov.in; Know Last Date to Apply Here

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) commenced the registration process for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) today i.e. 18 October. Eligible and interested students can fill out the Uttarakhand NMMS application form 2025 through the official website- scert.uk.gov.in.

As per the schedule, the last date to apply for Uttarakhand NMMS is 6 November 2024. The Uttarakhand NMMS 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on 23 December 2024, in two sessions. The first session will take place from 11 am to 12:30 pm, and the second session will be held from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm.

As per the official notice, a total of 1,00,000 scholarships are available at the national level of which 1,048 scholarships are allocated for students of Uttarakhand. Selected students from Class 9 to Class 12 will receive a monthly scholarship of Rs 1,000 through the Annual Payment Bridge System (APBS) directly into their bank accounts via a nationalised bank.

To be eligible, students must be enrolled as institutional learners in Class 8 at government schools (excluding central and residential schools), local body schools, or government-aided schools in Uttarakhand. Should have passed the annual examination of Class 7 with a minimum of 55 per cent marks and 50 per cent for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates and also the annual income of the applicant's parents or guardians must not exceed Rs 3,50,000.
