UPSC IAS 2024: Registration ends TODAY at upsc.gov.in; know admit card release date here

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to conclude the civil service preliminary examination registration process today i.e. on 5 March 2024. The UPSC CSE prelims application form is available on the official website- upsc.gov.in, till 6 pm today.

Candidates must note that the one time registration (OTR) can be modified till 7 days after the registration process closes. Those who are registering for the first time will be able to modify the UPSC OTR from 6 to 12 March.

The UPSC announced to fill approximately 1,056 vacancies, including 40 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability category. Of the 40 vacancies for PwD category candidates, 6 vacancies are for blind and low vision candidates, 12 for deaf and hard of hearing, 9 for locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy, and 13 vacancies for multiple disabilities.

“Candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1992 and not later than 1st August, 2003,” said the commission. The UPSC IAS admit card 2024 is expected to be issued three weeks before the exam for those who successfully submitted their application form.

1. Visit the official website of UPSC- upsc.gov.in
2. On the homepage, click on the One Time Registration (OTR) registration link
3. Fill in the UPSC CSE registration form 2024
4. Login with the credentials and submit
5. Fill the UPSC CSE 2024 application form with the required details
6. Upload the necessary documents and pay the application fee
7. Take a printout of the UPSC IAS application form 2024 for future reference.

The UPSC CSE IAS exam 2024 will be conducted for recruitment to Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other posts notified.
