The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the Civil Services Main Examination 2024 on December 9. Aspirants who appeared for the exam can access their results on the official website at upsc.gov.in.

UPSC CSE Main Examination 2024 Key Details

The Civil Services Main exam was conducted across five days – September 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29, 2024 – in two shifts (9AM to noon and 2.30PM to 5.30PM).

Candidates who have successfully cleared the Main stage will proceed to the Personality Test (Interview) round, with dates expected to be announced soon.

Qualified candidates must complete and submit the Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II) online, indicating their service preferences for the year. The submission must be done before the Personality Test round begins.

This year, the commission aims to fill 1,056 vacancies in various central government departments. The recruitment process began on February 14 and concluded on March 5, 2024.
