Today, 19 April 2023, the Union Public Service Commission announced the UPSC Combined Medical Services (CMS) 2023 examination notification. Candidates can now register for the UPSC CMS test 2023 till 9 May 2023. The UPSC CMS announcement may be seen at upsc.gov.in.
Candidates must make sure that the email addresses they provided in their applications are current and functional because the commission will contact them via email.
The UPSC CMS test 2023 will take place on 16 July 2023, for the hiring of medical personnel in various government ministries. According to the announcement, the e-admit card will be distributed three weeks prior to the start of the exam, and no candidate will receive an admit card via postal mail.
UPSC CMS 2023: Application fee
Candidates must pay INR 200 as the UPSC CMS application fee when registering for the exam. Candidates who are female, SC, ST, and PwBD are not required to pay an application fee.
UPSC CMS 2023: Exam Pattern
The exam will consist of two sections, in accordance with the UPSC CMS paper format. Candidates will take Part 1's written examination in two examinations for a total of 500 marks. A maximum of 250 marks can be earned on each paper, which has a two-hour duration. A personality exam for 100 marks will be in part two. Those who pass the written exam are qualified to take the personality test. For incorrect answers to the objective-type questions, there will be a deduction.
