The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the schedule for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Mains 2024 personality tests. The interviews for qualified candidates are set to begin on January 7, 2025. Aspirants can access the detailed schedule on the official website, upsc.gov.in.

As per the official notice, interviews will be conducted for 2,845 candidates between January 7, 2025, and April 17, 2025. Reporting times are set at 9 am for the forenoon session and 1 pm for the afternoon session.

The commission will soon issue e-summon letters to eligible candidates via its website. However, it emphasised that candidates who fail to submit the Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II) within the prescribed timeline will have their candidature cancelled, and no e-summon letter will be issued.

Additionally, candidates attending the interviews are entitled to reimbursement of travel expenses, capped at the Second/ Sleeper class train fare (Mail Express). For those travelling by other modes or classes, reimbursement will be processed per S.R.-132 and the Commission's guidelines. Detailed instructions and the "Travelling Allowance Form for Candidates" are available at upsc.gov.in/forms-downloads.

To claim reimbursement, candidates must submit hard copies or prints of tickets showing fare details for both onward and return journeys. The completed T.A. contribution claim form must be submitted in duplicate along with these documents.

Candidates are reminded to submit the Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II) within the stipulated timeframe. Failing this, their candidature will be cancelled, and no e-summon letter will be issued.
