The CDS 1 written test will be administered by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on 16 April 2023. The UPSC CDS 1 admit card is available on the upsc.gov.in 2023 website.
Candidates who wish to attend the Indian Military Academy (IMA Dehradun), Indian Naval Academy (INA Ezhimala), Air Force Academy (Hyderabad), or Officers' Training Academy (OTA Chennai) must take the CDS exam. When candidates successfully complete their training period, they will be hired by the Defense as Commissioned Officers.
UPSC CDS 1 Written Test 2023: Exam day guidelines
- The UPSC has made the UPSC CDS 1 admit card available. Candidates should carefully review the e-admit card and bring any anomalies to UPSC's attention right once, if any.
- Along with the actual photo ID card, candidates must provide their admit cards. Candidates must keep their admit cards till the final results are announced.
- Candidates must arrive in the exam room at least 30 minutes before the CDS exam is scheduled to start. Entry to the testing location closes 10 minutes before the planned start of each session's exam.
- Answers must be marked in the OMR Sheet with a black ball-point pen
- All candidates must wear a mask or facial covering. No candidates will be admitted to the exam centre without a mask or facial protection.
- Inside the exam centre, mobile phones, calculators, and other electronic devices are not permitted.
