The University Grants Commission (UGC) announced that, starting from the December 2024 session, Ayurveda Biology will be added as a subject to the National Eligibility Test (NET). The detailed syllabus for the subject can be checked at ugcnetonline.in, the commission informed.
“Based on the expert committee's recommendations, the Commission, in its 581 meeting held on 25th June, 2024, has decided to add "Ayurveda Biology" as an additional subject from December 2024 onwards to the existing list of subjects of UGC-NET,” said the commission. The detailed schedule and notification for the UGC NET December examination are expected soon on the official website.
Also, in June this year, the commission announced the addition of disaster management subjects in the list of subjects for the UGC NET December 2024 exam.
