The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) issued the notification for UP Police SI direct recruitment 2023. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for UP Police SI recruitment 2023 through the official website- uppbpb.gov.in.
As per the notification, the registration for 921 vacancies for sub-inspector will commence from 7 January 2024. The last date to apply against UP Police SI vacancy 2023 is till 28 January 2024 while the deadline for fee payment and application form correction is till 30 January 2024.
“Online applications are invited from the candidates to fill the following vacant posts of Sub Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (Clerk) and Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (Accounts) for men and women in Uttar Pradesh Police,” said the board in an official notice.
The online written test will be of 400 marks for candidates. The question paper will contain 200 objective type questions on general Hindi/computer knowledge, general knowledge, quantitative and mental ability, and mental aptitude, intelligence quotient, and logical ability. The duration of the exam will be two hours and 30 minutes.
To be eligible, candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board or an equivalent qualification approved by the government.
