UP NEET PG Counselling 2023: Stray vacancy round registration begins today; Know how to apply here

The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DMET) in Uttar Pradesh is set to initiate the registration process for the stray vacancy round of UP NEET PG counselling 2023 today at 11 am. Candidates aiming to participate in the final state counselling round via the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) must complete their registration on the official website, upneet.gov.in.

According to the official schedule, the last date for registration is October 13, and applicants have until October 14 to submit the security deposit.

This round is exclusively for candidates who were not allocated a seat in the previous first, second, or mop-up rounds. To participate in the stray vacancy round, applicants must pay a registration fee of Rs 2,000.

Additionally, candidates must submit a security deposit of Rs 30,000 for state government medical colleges, Rs 2 lakh for state private medical colleges, and Rs 1 lakh for state dental colleges. Those who have already paid the security deposit in any prior counselling round do not need to do so again.

The Directorate has clarified that if a candidate fails to take the seat allocated in the stray vacancy round, their security deposit will be forfeited, rendering them ineligible for state medical and dental counselling.

6. Upload the necessary documents
