The University of Delhi is set to announce the results of the final special spot round seat allotment for the year 2023 today at 5 PM. Aspiring candidates who had registered for the DU UG admission special round can check their allotment status on the CSAS portal at admission.uod.ac.in. This marks a crucial step in the admission process for selected undergraduate programs for the academic session 2023-24.
Earlier, on September 25, the university had published a list of vacant seats available for the final special round counselling for the year 2023. These vacant seats are spread across various DU colleges, including Acharya Narendra Dev College, Aryabhatta College, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Deshbandhu College, and Gargi College. Each college has notified the category-wise availability of vacant seats for several BA programs.
The university has set specific criteria for shortlisting programs for the final special spot round. Only those programs within respective colleges, where the number of vacant seats exceeds 10% of the sanctioned program capacity, will be considered for admissions in this round.
The seat allotment process will take into account multiple factors, including seat availability, program-specific merit, order of preference, and the applicant's category. This ensures a fair and comprehensive selection process for all candidates.
Prospective students are advised to check the CSAS portal at admission.uod.ac.in promptly at 5 PM today to view their final seat allotment status for the academic year 2023-24. This marks an important milestone in their journey towards securing admission to the University of Delhi.
