The University of Arizona (UAZ), in collaboration with Great Learning(GL), has introduced a new, fully online MS in Information Science: Machine Learning. This 21-month programme is designed for early career, mid and senior-level professionals by leading experts at the University of Arizona and practicing industry professionals.

The programme will equip professionals with the knowledge to design information-driven solutions for business problems and develop effective management frameworks for the future. With live online classes and recorded lectures, the programme includes 11 hands-on projects and dedicated mentorship sessions to enhance the learning experience of learners.

The University of Arizona is ranked in the top 50 US public universities by US News & World Report 2022 and is known for advancing the frontiers of interdisciplinary scholarship and entrepreneurial partnerships. The university’s partnership with Great Learning, a global edtech company for professional training and higher education, and part of the BYJU group, provides the opportunity for more students to gain advanced qualifications through cutting-edge online programme delivery.

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment opportunities for information research and computer scientists are projected to grow by 22 per cent by 2030. Information Science is one of the fastest-growing domains in the tech world today, especially that the total amount of digital data created worldwide will rise to 163 zettabytes by 2025 as per the IDC.
