The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to close the submission window for Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the upcoming Mains examination today, July 12 (by 6 PM).
The DAF-I submission window is exclusively open to candidates who were declared successful in the UPSC Prelims 2024. Failure to submit the DAF-I by the deadline will render a candidate ineligible to appear in the Mains exam.
UPSC DAF-I Submission Process
The application process for the DAF-I is entirely online. Candidates can access the application portal on the official UPSC website (upsc.gov.in).
- Registration: Already registered UPSC candidates can log in directly. New candidates will need to register for an account using the provided instructions.
- DAF-I Completion: Candidates must meticulously enter all details requested in the form, including academic qualifications, caste certificates (if applicable), and preferred civil services.
- Document Uploads: Scanned copies of all mandatory documents as outlined by the UPSC must be uploaded to the portal.
- Fee Payment: An application fee of ₹ 200 needs to be paid online via debit/credit card or net banking.
- Review and Submission: Before final submission, candidates are strongly advised to thoroughly review their application for any errors or omissions.
