The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has finally released the much-awaited name-wise list of candidates who have qualified for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (II), 2024 written exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam on September 1, 2024, can now check their results on the official UPSC website.

How to Check UPSC CDS 2 Result

• Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
• Look for the ‘What's New’ section on the homepage.
• Click on the link for ‘Written Result (With Name) Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2024.’
• A PDF containing the detailed list of qualified candidates will be displayed.
• Download the same for future reference.

The UPSC CDSE II final result PDF typically includes the following information:

• Roll numbers of shortlisted candidates
• Names of successful candidates

Candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview. The SSB interview process assesses the candidates' personality, intelligence, and leadership qualities. After the interview process, UPSC will release the final merit list of selected candidates. The mark sheets will be uploaded by the Commission on its website within 15 days from the final result publication date of the OTA course.

The Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Indian Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers' Training Academy (OTA) for men and women.
