The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has finally published the final result and qualified candidates' merit list for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (I), 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official UPSC website.

The written exam for CDS (I) 2024 took place in April earlier this year, followed by the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview for shortlisted candidates.

The final merit list containing names and roll numbers of 237 candidates has been prepared based on their performance in the written exam and SSB interviews.

Steps to Check UPSC CDS I Final Result

  • Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
  • Look for the ‘What's New’ section on the homepage.
  • Click on the link for ‘Final Result: Combined Defence Services Examination (I).’
  • A PDF containing qualified candidates' roll numbers will be displayed.
  • Download the same for future reference.

However, the candidates must note that their final marks will be available on the website only after the publication of the Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) final result.
