The Union Bank of India (UBI) has announced the recruitment of 1,500 Local Bank Officer (LBO) positions. The application process is already underway and interested candidates can submit their applications online at the official website between October 24, 2024, and November 13, 2024.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a full-time Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institution.
Age Limit
Applicants must be between 20 and 30 years old. The cut-off date for age eligibility has been set as October 1, 2024.
Application Fees
- General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Other Backward Classes (OBC): ₹850
- Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwBD): ₹175
Selection Process
The selection will involve a four-tiered process:
- Online Examination
- Group Discussion (if conducted)
- Application Screening
- Personal Interview (depending on the number of eligible candidates)
The written exam will comprise 155 questions worth 200 marks, with a penalty of 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
