The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made the UGC NET December 2023 admit card available on the official websites, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, and ugcnet.ntaonline.in. NTA is set to conduct the University Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test (NTA UGC NET 2023) covering 83 subjects from December 6 to 22.
Successful candidates in UGC NET December 2023 will qualify for assistant professor recruitments in various universities and colleges. Additionally, the exam score will serve as criteria for granting junior research fellowships (JRF) to PhD aspirants.
The UGC NET December 2023 comprises two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is general, encompassing questions related to teaching, research, and general knowledge, while Paper 2 is based on the candidate's chosen subject.
To prepare for the exam, candidates can practice with previous years’ question papers available on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The UGC NET syllabus in PDF format is also accessible on the official website.
UGC clarified that the aggregate scores of UGC NET 2023 Paper 1 and Paper 2 determine eligibility for JRF and/or assistant professorship. Candidates qualifying only for Assistant Professorship are not eligible for JRF consideration.
