The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2022 result today on its official website: ugcnet.nta.nic.in. This particular examination was conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode from 21 February and 2 March.
According to the UGC NET examination pattern, the paper had objective-type questions and multiple-choice questions and students had to give two papers. Paper 1 had nearly 50 questions whereas Paper 2 had nearly 100 questions.
Post the announcement of the UGC NET 2023 result, the NTA will issue an e-certificate along with a JRF award letter. Applicants who qualify for UGC NET get a salary package ranging between Rs 35,000 to Rs 60,000.
UGC NET 2023 December Session Marking Scheme
- Every question of the UGC NET paper has two (2) marks.
- For every correct response, applicants will get two marks.
- This UGC NET exam paper does not have any negative markings for the incorrect answers.
- In case, a student leaves a question unanswered, un-attempted or marked for review no marks (0) will be granted.
- Applicants need to choose only one option as the correct option to answer.
- If a question is incorrect, ambiguous or has multiple correct answers, applicants who have attempted that question and given the correct answer would be given marks.
- In case a question is incorrect and dropped, then two marks (2) will be granted to those applicants who have attempted the question.
