The National Testing Agency (NTA) activated the UGC NET 2024 application form link for the June 2024 session. Candidates who are interested in appearing for UGC NET 2024 exam will have to submit their application form on the official website- ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The UGC NET June 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted from 16 June 2024 in online mode. The UGC NET June 2024 application form can be submitted in online mode by 10 May. NTA will also commence the UGC NET application form correction 2024 facility on 13 May in online mode. Applicants can access the UGC NET 2024 application form correction window till 15 May.
This year the UGC NET 2024 exam will be held for a total of 83 subjects. To be eligible, candidates should have scored at least 55 per cent marks in master’s degree. However a relaxation of five per cent is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories. Candidates should have completed their post-graduation from a UGC-recognised college/university in relevant streams.
Applicants must note that the UGC NET 2024 application fee is Rs 1,150 for general candidates, Rs 600 for General-Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) while for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and transgenders, applicants are required to pay Rs 325.
