The Tata Institutes of Social Sciences (TISS) has announced that students will be admitted to postgraduate courses offered by the institute on the basis of Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG).
This includes all the postgraduate courses except Master of Arts in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations and Master of Arts in Organisation Development, Change and Leadership.
For these courses CAT score will be taken into consideration.
The CUET exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency for admitting students to postgraduate Programmes in Central, State and other participating Universities, Institutions and Autonomous Colleges.
According to the institute, the decision has been taken in compliance to the mandate given to National Testing Agency (NTA) by the Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission for conducting the CUET exam, thereby providing a single window opportunity for Postgraduate aspirants seeking admission to Central Universities or other participating institutions.
The CUET-PG examination for academic year 2024-25 will be conducted from March 11 to 28, 2024 and the registrations are likely to begin in the first week of January.
