The Oberoi Group has begun the selection process for its two year Postgraduate Management Programme at The Oberoi Centre of Learning Development (OCLD). It has introduced an 18-month sales management programme for graduates looking for a long-term career in hospitality sales, which is scheduled to begin from July 2022.

The management programme at OCLD is designed to provide an opportunity to associates to grow personally and professionally. The candidates will be going through a combination of academic study and comprehensive on-the-job training. The objective of the programme is to develop the next generation of managers who will continue to practice and nurture the organisation’s people focused approach to achieve the legendary Oberoi service excellence.
The Systematic Training and Education Programme (STEP) is a recommended undergraduate programme for high school graduates seeking to take their first steps in the hospitality industry.
According to Sangeetha Gandhi, vice-president, OCLD, the two-year management programme is a testament of the group’s commitment to selecting and training the best talent to be the next torch bearers of the organisation’s legacy. The focus is not just on developing the technical competence of associates for the curriculum but also develops their personal attributes and leadership style.
Candidates should have completed or are completing a university or college degree in any subject and be between 19 and 26 years of age to be eligible. The training programme is held at the institute’s campus in Delhi.
Trainees will also be trained at a series of Oberoi and Trident hotels and resorts properties across the country, including cities such as Agra, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Udaipur, Shimla, Kolkata, Mumbai, etc.
