In a major development for lakhs of aspirants, the Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has officially announced the postponement of the highly anticipated Group II exam. The decision comes in response to growing demands from candidates citing a clash with other crucial exams.
Originally scheduled for August 7 and 8, 2024, the TSPSC Group II written exams will now be conducted in December 2024. The exact dates will be released by the commission in due course.
TSPSC took the decision to postpone the exam after considering the concerns raised by a large number of candidates. Many aspirants had expressed their difficulties in preparing for the Group 2 exam due to its proximity to other competitive recruitment examinations.
“It is hereby informed that the Commission having deliberated on the proximity of examination dates between various recruitments and has decided to reschedule the Group-II Services Recruitment Examinations ”, the official notification stated.
The exam is a competitive selected procedure conducted to fill various Group II Gazetted and Non-Gazetted posts in the Telangana state government. The recruitment drive aims to select qualified candidates for a total of 783 vacancies across different departments.
With the postponement, aspirants now have additional time to prepare for the exam.
