The Directorate of Government Examination, Tamil Nadu extended the application deadline of Tamil Nadu National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) till 27 December. Interested candidates can fill the Tamil Nadu NMMS 2023-24 application form on the official website- dge.tn.gov.in.
The Tamil Nadu NMMS 2024 exam has been scheduled to take place on 3 February 2024. Students who pass the exam will be offered a scholarship worth Rs 12,000 per annum. Students applying for taking the NMMS test must be enrolled in state government, government-aided, or local body schools. To be eligible the student's household income should also be less than Rs 3,50,000.
The official notice read “The final list of students' verified at all concerned levels on the National Scholarship Portal, will be considered for sanction of funds. The scholarships for those students will be discontinued if they would have not been able to renew their application on NSP within the stipulated time period.”
