Tamil Nadu has commenced the registration process for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG counselling 2024 for admission to MBBS, BDS courses in the state on its official website. Students who wish to participate in the counselling process can apply on the official website tnmedicalselection.net.

The last date for candidates to register themselves is August 8. Candidates can register for government quota seats by providing a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 500. For management quota seats, students must pay a registration fee of Rs 1000.

The NEET UG seats are reserved in the All-India Quota and the state quota. While 15 percent seats are reserved in the All India Quota, the rest comes under the state quota.

Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Tamil Nadu will be conducting four rounds during the counselling process. This includes Round 1, Round 2, mop-up round and stray round. Following the allotment of seats, students will have to report to their respective colleges for document verification and the admission process.

How to apply for TN NEET UG 2024 Counselling?

Step 1: Visit the official website at tnmedicalselection.net

Step 2: Click on the link mentioning 'Admission to MBBS/BDS course

Step 3: Select the quota through which you want to apply for the seats

Step 4: Click 'Online Application'

Step 5: Enter your login credentials/Click New Registration

Step 6: Fill up all the necessary details

Step 7: Pay application fee

Step 8: Submit your application
