A 17-year-old girl from Tamil Nadu's Erode district has been awarded a full scholarship worth Rs 3 crore to study at the University of Chicago in the United States.
Daughter of a farmer, Swega Saminathan hails from Kasipalayam village in Erode. She was groomed by the Dexterity Global Group from the age of 14, when she went to the institute to become a part of its leadership development and career development programmes.
Dexterity Global's founder Sharad Sagar shared the news of Saminathan's achievement on social media.

Expressing joy over the scholarship, Swega credited the organisation and its founder Sharad Sagar for her success.
Sagar founded Dexterity Global in the year of 2008 as a platform to connect underprivileged students from rural or remote Indian towns and villages with global education opportunities. A social entrepreneur and expert for shows like Kaun Banega crorepati, Sagar was named by Forbes in its coveted '30 Under 30' list and was just 16 when he founded Dexterity Global.
