"My parents are happier than me. Their joy has overshadowed my rank. I was completely stunned for two minutes when I first saw the results on the computer screen and it took nearly 15-20 minutes for me to understand the depth of the rank," she said.

Khushi will be the first generation lawyer from the family. Her Father, Dr Amit Kr Agarwal, is a renowned Urosurgeon of Kolkata. Currently a student of the Commerce Stream, Khushi wishes to study law at National Law School of India (NLSI) in Bengaluru.

"I really can't express my feeling in words. She has been a brilliant student since childhood and has always been focussed in her studies. She had decided on becoming a lawyer since she was in class eight," said Alka Agarwal, Khushi's mother.

Commenting on her preparation strategy for the exam, Khushi said that she had been preparing for CLAT examination since the beginning of 2023 dedicating 4 to 5 hours each day towards her preparation along with her coaching classes.

"I had to manage both my school examinations and CLAT preparations. The last six months have been really tough. We had our school exams in July and September. It was really hard as I had to manage both. During my first term examination in September, I had to set aside my CLAT preparations and concentrate fully on my school exams. Once the school exams got over, I focussed completely on CLAT as I had no other school exam during that time," said the youngster.

Khushi toiled hard, devoted 11-12 hours in the last two months towards preparing for the examination and finally appeared in the exam held throughout India on December 3.

Now, with her goals achieved, she is confident of getting into the NLSI through the first round of counselling when the results are declared on December 26.
