The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is actively seeking applications for the engagement of Young Professionals (IT) on a contractual basis at its headquarters. This contract, initially set for one year and subject to case-by-case evaluation, offers a full-time position with a strict prohibition on taking up additional assignments during the contract period. There are five vacancies available for this post.
Eligible candidates must hold a BE, BTech, or BCA degree from a recognized college or university with a minimum of 60% marks. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of programming, networking, IT, and proficiency in computer hardware and software matters.
While the initial contract spans one year, it holds the potential for a one-year extension contingent upon a satisfactory performance review. The remuneration for Young Professionals (IT) may see an increase of up to 5%, with the fixed monthly salary set at Rs 30,000.
The responsibilities of the role encompass handling official communication, data entry, verification, validation, reconciliation of errors, and proficiency in MS-Office. Additionally, tasks involve document preparation, letter and table creation, PowerPoint presentations, document conversion, computer file handling, cataloging, filing, maintaining files, regular data/files backup on computers, and any other assigned duties.
The commission emphasises that police verification, following the latest instructions from the Ministry of Home Affairs, is mandatory. If the police verification yields a negative result, the contract of the individual consultant will be terminated immediately without prior notice.
