SSC Steno Grade C & D 2022: Due to technical glitches, skill test have been cancelled

In a recent announcement, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) stated that the 2022 Stenographer Grade C and D Recruitment Examination would be cancelled. The commission has decided to cancel the SSC steno skill test on 15 February 2023 in 2 shifts after receiving complaints regarding technical issues and feedback from regional locations. Soon, ssc.nic.in will announce the new SSC steno grade C and D exam dates.

The Commission has decided to cancel the said exam and to reconduct it on a new date only for those candidates who have appeared and registered for the Skill Test on 15.02.2023 (Shift 1 & 2). This decision was made in light of the numerous complaints received from candidates and feedback from Regional Offices of the Commission regarding the technical difficulties encountered during the conduct of the Skill Test of Stenographer Grade C & D Examination, 2022 on 15.02.2023 (Shift 1 & 2).

For both Grade "C" and "D" posts, a candidate cannot be less than 18 years old. For Grade C posts, the maximum age is 30, and for Grade D posts, it is 27. The commission also relaxes the age requirements for candidates who fall under the OBC, SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-serviceman categories. For Grade C, the SSC Stenographer salary in hand is Rs. 50,628 per month, while for Grade D, it is Rs. 37,515.
