The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 26,146 GD constable vacancies in the department. As per the schedule, the commission will conduct the recruitment examination on 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 February and 1, 5, 6, 7, 11, and 12 March for various GD constable positions in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) positions in the Assam Rifles Examination 2024.
The SSC GD constable exam will be held online in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The examination will assess candidates' knowledge, their critical thinking abilities, and fundamental mathematical skills. The exam will consist of 200 questions to be completed in 2 hours duration.
