The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has requested aspirants applying for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL) exam to submit their application form before the closing date and not to wait till the last date.
Candidates can apply for SSC CHSL 2023 exam on the official website – ssc.nic.in. The application window is scheduled to close on 8 June 2023.
“It is hereby reiterated in the interest of the candidates that aspiring candidates for Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination-2023, should submit their online application well before the closing date i.e. 08.06.2023 and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the website on account of heavy traffic on the servers during the closing days,” according to an official notice issued by SSC.
The commission notified on 8 May that it will conduct the SSC CHSL 2023 exam in computer-based-test (CBT) mode in August 2023.
The application fee for SSC CHSL exam is Rs 100. However, women candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Exservicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from application fee.

- Dates for submission of online applications: May 9, 2023 to June 8, 2023
- Last date and time for receipt of online applications: June 8, 2023 (11 PM)
- Last date and time for making online fee payment: June 10, 2023 (11 PM)
- Last date and time for generation of offline Challan: June 11, 2023 (11 PM)
- Last date for payment through Challan (during working hours of Bank): June 12, 2023
- Dates of ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ and online payment of correction charges: June 14, 2023 to June 15, 2023 (11 PM)
