The exam was conducted from September 9 to 26, 2024 and the provisional answer keys were published on October 4. Candidates were given time till October 8 to raise any objections regarding these keys.
Through this recruitment process, a total of 17,727 positions in Group B and Group C across various ministries, departments, and statutory bodies of the central government will be filled.
Candidates who successfully pass Tier 1 will be shortlisted for the Tier 2 examination and their roll numbers will be published on the official website.
The Tier 1 exam featured multiple-choice questions across four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension, with each section comprising 25 questions, totalling 50 marks per section.
To qualify in the exam, candidates belonging to unreserved category must achieve a minimum of 30 percent marks, while those in the OBC and EWS categories need 25 percent. Candidates from all other categories must secure at least 20 percent marks to pass.
