The Commission will be conducting the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam 2023 beginning from 2 to 7 March 2023. According to the new exam pattern, there will be three papers in the SSC CGL Tier 2. The Commission will further hold the SSC CGL Tier 2 Paper 1 on all days except on 4 March. The SSC CGL Tier 2 Paper 2 and Paper 3 will be held on 4 March for all eligible candidates. The SSC CGL Tier 2 exam will take place in two shifts only. The first shift will begin at 9.00 AM whereas the second shift will initiate from 2.00 PM. Applicants appearing for the exam are further required to report at their assigned exam centres one hour prior the exam start time.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was held from 1 to 13 December 2022 at different cities of the country. SSC CGL Tier 1 admit card 2022 is also out for all different regions. The SSC CGL admit card mentions the shift timings along with the reporting time. Applicants appearing for the exam must hereby reach the exam centre according to their reporting time. As per SSC CGL shift timing, the Tier 1 exam will take place in four different shifts beginning from: 9-10 AM, 11.45-12.45 PM, 2.30-3.30 PM and 5.30-6.30 PM.
SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is held online. The test paper carried four different sections namely: English Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension. The test carries nearly 100 multiple-choice questions of 200 marks. The exam takes place for one hour.
