The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will issue the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam 2023 notification today i.e. 1 April 2023. Candidates who will be appearing in the SSC CGL 2023 Tier 1 exam can register online through the official website of SSC- ssc.nic.in. The last date to apply for the exam is till 1 May 2023.
The SSC CGL 2023 application fee is Rs 100. However, women candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) category candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted from 14 to 27 July 2023. Candidates qualifying the Tier 1 exam will be eligible for the Tier 2 examination. The Tier 1 exam 2023 will be conducted online.
As per the SSC CGL paper pattern, the questions in the Tier 1 exam will be of general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, quantitative aptitude and English comprehension. There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
The paper will be in both English and Hindi languages except for English comprehension. Questions in Tier 2 will be on quantitative ability, statistics, general studies and English language and comprehension.
