The SSC CGL Tier 2 test 2022 will take place from 2 to 7 March 2023, according to the Staff Selection Commission. Two online shifts for the CGL Tier 2 exam will be conducted.

The Tier 2 exam assesses applicants' proficiency in English language and comprehension, statistics, general studies (finance and economics), and quantitative aptitude.

There will be three stages to the SSC CGL Tier-2 exam: Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3. Paper I is a mandatory for all positions. Only candidates who qualify for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) positions at the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation will take Paper II. Only candidates who register for the positions of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer will take Paper III.

SSC CGL 2022 Tier 2: Important guidelines for the exam

  • Candidates must have their SSC CGL admit card 2022, and a valid photo ID with them at all times.
  • Smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, mobile phones, and similar products are prohibited in the exam room along with other electronic devices.
  • It is advised that candidates avoid bringing additional paper or pens to the centre.
  • The thermal screening process that is set up at the entrance gate is required.
  • In the exam room, candidates must also wear a face mask.
  • The SSC CGL tier 2 admit card 2022 contains detailed instructions for the exam day, which candidates are advised to read over and follow at the examination hall.
