The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) commenced the application process for various posts in the ministry of personnel, public grievances and pensions. Students can apply for the posts on the official website, ssc.gov.in.
This recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 2,049 vacancies in the organisation. SSC is conducting the recruitment for 255 posts of scheduled caste, 124 of scheduled tribe, 456 of other backward castes, 1,028 of unreserved categories and 186 of economically weaker sections.
As per the schedule, the registration process will continue till 18 March, following which the window for application form correction will be open from 22 to 24 March. The SSC will conduct the computer-based test from 6 to 8 May.
Applicants must note that the commission will charge Rs 200 as correction fee for making editing and re-submitting modified or corrected applications for the first time and Rs 500 for the second time. The correction charges will be applicable to all candidates irrespective of their gender and categories.
